Today we discussed the committee system of Congress and the process for choosing committee members and chairs. We will finish up our look at Congress tomorrow by discussing the case for/against Congress. I have posted the Ch. 11 PPT on the resources tab and below. Happy studying!
Today we looked into the roles and responsibilities of Congressional leadership. If you did not finish the chart in class, please do so tonight. We will be going over it tomorrow.

Monday we will continue on with our Congress unit. Still to discuss is congressional leadership, how a bill becomes a law, and the committee system. Tenative plan is to have your Ch. 11 test next Friday. Have a great weekend!

Today we finished our discussion of the incumbent advantage by looking at gerrymandering. Tomorrow you will get the chance to redistrict on your own!

Today we began the first sub-unit within the larger unit on Institutions of gov't. We will hopefully wrap up our look at Congress before you head off to Winter Break.
