Homework for the unit:
We began our FINAL unit today. We will be spending 2 weeks on policymaking with the majority of the unit dedicated to group policy projects. This unit spans Edwards chapters 16-18 which you are responsible for reading by Thursday 4/7.
**Reminder: if you did not turn in your take home FRQ today, I need it tomorrow or you won't get credit (aside from a few of you who were out multiple days) Began an intro to civil rights (Ch. 5) today. Current events due Monday. Here is a link to the Bernie Sanders rally info if you are interested in attending. Have a great weekend!
Read and summarize the following. Due Wednesday 3/23, at the beginning of your class.
Ch. 4 Civil Liberties test tomorrow. Cases are due to turnitin.com by 7:25 AM.
Today we began our unit on civil rights and civil liberties. If you missed class today I am happy to walk you through the introductory notes tomorrow. Homework:
TGIF! Federal Courts (CH. 15) Test is Monday. KBAT's are also due Monday. If you were absent today, below is a brainstorm of FRQ topics that we did in class. Might be useful to study from.
Another great day of oral arguments! The hard work is done and I am very proud of each of you! Remember, we should have some free time in class tomorrow, so bring your textbooks to study and/or work on KBAT's.
Great first day of our Supreme Court Simulation. I am constantly impressed by you all! Check out our good looking SCOTUS's below :)
For deliberations tomorrow, justices should have a good idea with which way they want to vote. There will be discussion and maybe some conflict, but remember to vote like your justice (most likely) would! There should be some time in class after the justices deliberate, so bring KBAT's, textbooks, etc. AND WATCH/READ SOME SUPER TUESDAY COVERAGE. Tonight is a big day for both parties! |
