Today in class we did a more informal current events and took some time to discuss the latest with the impeachment inquiry. Most classes also began an intro to the next chapter on federalism.

Today in class we took our first chapter exam on the Constitution. If you were absent, please plan a time to makeup the test ASAP. Monday we will begin Ch. 3 on Federalism.

Today in class we went over the hunt through the Constitution. Please keep the assignment for a helpful reference through the year. We also discussed the politics of ratification and the debate between Federalist & Anti-Federalists. On Monday we will do a short activity with Brutus 1 & Federalist 10. If for some reason you didn't have your summaries today, you are expected to bring them Monday.

Students had all class period today to work on their "Hunt through the Constitution" assignment. We are on track to have your first chapter test (CH. 1-2) next Friday as planned.

Happy Constitution Day to all! Today we covered the main areas of disagreement at the Constitutional Convention and began the hunt through the Constitution. You will have more class time on Thursday to finish up the hunt so no need to spend time at home.
