Today we had our campaigns & elections test. I know some of you were feeling less confident than usual but that is ok! This unit had a lot of detail and connections to other chapters. Remember, you can always do test corrections for the multiple choice part of any test. You can earn. .25 points back for each question you missed for up to and 80%.
Tomorrow we will begin Ch. 10- interest groups

Today in class we began our study of campaign finance. As I mentioned, this is sometimes a confusing topic for students so make sure you are keeping up with reading and asking questions in class.
Homework:
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Remember to keep your political discussions civil :) When you get back we will finish up the chapter by discussing campaign finance. Expect a Ch. 9 test late next week

Tomorrow we will finish up the Electoral Dysfunction video. If you wanted to do quiz corrections for the Ch. 8 political parties quiz they should be completed by tomorrow. Feel free to come in tomorrow morning any time after 9:00.

Today we covered voter turnout and discussed the institutional barriers to voting. Next week will evaluate the Electoral College and our election system as a whole. Expect a Ch. 9 test the week we get back from Thanksgiving break. Which means...KBATs :)
