Hello all,
I hope you are enjoying your long weekend and taking some time honor those we have lost for this Memorial Day. The weekly plan can be found HERE. This week you should continue working on your final project with more emphasis on in-depth research, evidence/data gathering, and solidifying a plan for the product/presentation piece (approx 2 hours). Thanks to all who reached out to work with a partner, questions about appropriate topics, and any concerns about time management. I am so thrilled with the ideas you have come up with! Even though I am not overseeing your projects in person, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I will receive your AP Exam responses tomorrow and will get grading right away. I am eager to read what I am sure are a lot of stellar responses :) Stay safe & keep learning. We are in the home stretch! Ms. Belur

Good morning!
Weekly plan is attached HERE First, let me say how proud I am of each of you for finishing your AP exam! Even as the guinea pigs on day one of testing it sounds like most of you were able to power through! For the remainder of the school year, you will be working on a civic engagement final project. This project will take the place of your final exam. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge of concepts from the class in a productive way. You can find the assignment description on the weekly plan. Please make sure you read through the whole thing and submit your option choice by Thursday. Feel free to email me or use office hours for questions. Best of luck to those of you taking AP exams this week. We are in the home stretch! Ms. Belur Good morning & happy exam day!
The weekly plan is attached HERE. Pretty straight forward this week. I want you to be able to take a breather after your exam, and I know many of you have other AP exams this week, so just find some time to unwind with a good AP Gov movie :) Reminders for Exam Day:
Best of luck. You got this. Ms. Belur Good morning and happy ONE WEEK countdown to the AP exam!
Weekly plan can be found HERE. This week is solely dedicated to exam review that you all requested in the GoogleForm last week. If you were unable to join the meeting on Friday, or have yet to watch the meeting recording, I recommend you do so here or in the Files tab: https://web.microsoftstream.com/video/883c0a85-4e68-40a9-99fb-0af07d622cfb. I go over my recommendations for review and helpful notes for the exam. All of our review meetings will be held in the “AP Exam Review” channel on Teams, so make sure you enter the correct channel to join the meeting. As mentioned last week, many of our review days will go over the allotted 25 minutes per day. That being said, it is up to each of you to make a decision about how you want to engage in review. Some of you have requested more practice prompts & responses for FRQs. An awesome resource is “Timely, Topical, Tough FRQs” at CitizenU.org And in case you are losing track of the days...Next Monday is the big day!!!
Missing you all. Stay safe & keep learning! |
